Partner identification and due diligence
Finding institutions whose academic strengths, ranking profile and strategic goals truly complement yours.
PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATIONS
Every university has a wall of MOU photographs, handshakes and framed certificates. Most of those partnerships never produced a student exchange, joint paper or shared classroom. The signing ceremony is easy; what is rarely planned is the work of running a partnership in the eighteen months after.
We help institutions build partnerships that survive past the handshake and structure them correctly under Indian regulation from day one.
Built for decisions that hold up.
WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
Finding institutions whose academic strengths, ranking profile and strategic goals truly complement yours.
Building agreements with real, enforceable commitments instead of vague statements of intent.
Structuring collaboration under current UGC regulations for foreign institutional partnerships.
Credit-transfer frameworks, exchange logistics and the operational detail that makes mobility happen.
Structuring IP, publication and funding terms before research partnerships begin.
Structuring approved-partner models for Indian institutions expanding internationally.
Ongoing coordination that keeps a partnership active instead of dormant after year one.
WHO THIS IS FOR
THE CONTEXT
Not every institution is automatically eligible to offer joint, dual or twinning programmes with a foreign university. Under current UGC regulations, Indian institutions generally need a NAAC score of 3.01 or higher, a top-100 NIRF university position or Institution of Eminence status. The foreign partner generally needs to feature in a recognised global ranking such as QS or Times Higher Education top 500.
Your NAAC and NIRF standing determines what kinds of international partnerships are legally available - not just your reputation. That is why this service connects directly to our accreditation and ranking work.
OUR PROCESS
Each stage resolves the next critical question and creates a practical path to implementation.
Clarifying what you actually want from a partnership before looking for one.
Shortlisting institutions that fit academically, strategically and regulatorily.
Confirming your NAAC and NIRF standing supports the collaboration you are pursuing.
Creating an agreement with deliverables, timelines and named owners on both sides.
Establishing credit transfer systems, mobility logistics and joint-programme structures.
Staying engaged post-signature so the partnership produces activity, not just a plaque in the lobby.
WHY INSTITUTIONS CHOOSE PARADIGM
Partnership architecture, not just introductions - MoUs, twinning arrangements, research tie-ups and industry linkages have scope, deliverables and governance built in.
Bilateral due diligence - Potential partnerships are evaluated for regulatory permissibility, academic compatibility and institutional fit before commitment.
Outcome mapping before signing - Frameworks are built around measurable mobility, programme, research or placement outcomes.
Regulatory compliance embedded - Cross-border, institutional and industry partnerships align to UGC, AICTE and NEP 2020 guidelines.
Negotiation and drafting support - We bridge expectations and translate intent into enforceable, actionable commitments.
Implementation tracking - Milestones and review mechanisms keep outcomes moving after signing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A twinning programme allows a student to complete part of a degree, up to 30% of total credits, at a foreign partner institution while the degree is awarded by the Indian institution.
In a dual degree programme both institutions award separate degrees for the same period of study. In a joint degree programme both award one degree, and students complete more than 30% of credits at the partner institution.
Generally, an Indian institution needs NAAC 3.01 or higher, a top-100 NIRF university position or Institution of Eminence status; the foreign partner needs a recognised top-500 global ranking.
They lack named coordinators, mobility logistics, funding arrangements or credit-transfer mechanisms. Without that operational layer, the partnership has nothing to run on.
Yes. We advise on approved-partner models for international expansion and the regulatory and operational groundwork before launch.
