Assessment and Gap Analysis
- Lab, workshop and utility audit
- Equipment inventory and functional testing
- Benchmarking against leading engineering institutes
ENGINEERING EDUCATION · MAHARASHTRA
How Paradigm gave K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik, a laboratory roadmap to build hands-on skills and strengthen NBA accreditation and outcome-based readiness.
4
Engineering programmes: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Chemical
6
Workstreams from equipment to safety, faculty and industry links
4 months
From kickoff to a costed laboratory master plan
5
Deliverables, including procurement specifications and a safety framework
The challenge
Employers now expect engineers who can run PLCs, CNC machines and digital instruments. The Institute needed labs that build those skills and stand up to NBA scrutiny.
Our approach
We inspected each lab and workshop, tested equipment, heard faculty, students and industry, benchmarked leading engineering institutes, then built a programme-wise plan.
The impact
The Institute now has equipment specifications, budgets, safety systems and faculty training to modernise its labs in phases and evidence outcome-based practice.
What we delivered
Outcome: A Laboratory Transformation Master Plan for four programmes
Aligned to NBA and OBE requirements
The journey
Month 1
Kickoff with leadership and HoDs
Months 1–2
Lab inspections, interviews, benchmarking
Month 2
Assessment report and gap analysis
Months 3–4
Specifications, layouts and budgets
Month 4
Master plan handed to management

Paradigm's team assessed every lab and workshop with real rigour. Their roadmap tells us what to upgrade, and in what order, to build industry-ready skills and meet NBA and OBE expectations.
We audit your labs and workshops and deliver a costed, programme-wise plan to modernise them for NBA, AICTE and employers.
